Paul primarily practices in Stark, Summit, and Tuscarawas counties, but he has handled cases in about half of Ohio's jurisdictions.

Every court works on a different schedule.  The actions of the opposing party/attorney are the biggest drivers of cost.  My experience around the state and against many different attorneys helps me give reasonable estimates and expectations to clients at the beginning of a case.

I do not offer free consultations so that I focus my work on clients whom value my advice and experience.


I also generally require that the actual client (and not a relative) call/email to schedule the appointment and briefly discuss the case before meeting.

It lets me know that I have a serious client and it lets my client know that I only focus on a few cases at a time.

Those occasions when I realize that my legal skill has helped my client's children have the best chance for a happy childhood and future success.   The most touching moments are when those children grow up and thank me for making a difference in their lives.  I also love helping clients get through the turmoil of a divorce and start the next phase of their lives on sound financial footing.

One referred by a former client, because they know how well I handled a friend's legal needs.  The best clients come prepared with questions, have their documents organized for my review, and can state their goals clearly so that I can help achieve them.
